Mike Sladden is married to Julie, and they have two adult children, Jack and Tom. Mike is a dermatologist in Launceston, a ‘retired’ general practitioner and epidemiologist, as well as Clinical Associate Professor (Dermatology) at the University of Tasmania.
He enjoys clinical practice and teaching and has authored/co-authored over 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as several book chapters. He has a particular interest in melanoma and has published articles relating to melanoma excision margins and sentinel lymph node biopsy in melanoma.
In his spare time, he spends quality time with his family, enjoys walking, and is currently studying (on a very part time basis) Apologetics at Biola University, California. His favourite place is Coles Bay, Tasmania.
